01 Does it replace a human receptionist?

It handles greetings, info capture and routing. Complex or sensitive cases get transferred to a live agent — AI complements, not replaces.

02 Does it work after hours?

Yes, 24/7. Every call is answered even when your team is offline.

03 Can I pick the voice and language?

Yes. Voice, accent and language are configurable. If the caller speaks a different language, the AI detects it and replies in that language.

04 What happens if the AI cannot handle the call?

Automatic fallback to a live agent or voicemail. No conversation is lost.

05 Is it secure?

Yes. Encrypted HTTPS between 3CX and OpenAI. The admin controls the API key and spend caps inside the OpenAI dashboard.

06 Does it support chat as well as voice?

Voice only currently. Each AI call has a maximum duration of 3 minutes.
